Berrylax

Hi! I'm so happy to present to you the Berrylax, a mix between berry, because it camouflages itself as a fruit, and relax, because like a sloth, it spends most of its time hanging out on branches.
It was a 4th-year school project I worked on with three of my classmates. Each of us had to design a creature from concept to final render, set in a world of our imagination: a vast forest floating above the clouds.
This project was a super fun challenge, from sketching the creature on paper to managing fur simulation in Houdini. The rigging was done by Céline Ihuello, who did an amazing job.
